INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Regular Mejicano tortillas (10 in.)
  • 1 bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup (250 mL) chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (250 mL) fondue chocolate, hot
  • 12 small graham crackers, crumbled
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) sugar
  • 2 cups (500 mL) vegetable oil, for frying

STEPS

  • Heat the oil in a large pot.
  • While the oil is heating, cut the tortillas into triangles.
  • Fry the tortilla chips for about 2 minutes, or until golden.
  • Remove the chips from the pot and dust with sugar. Set aside.
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the chips on the sheet.
  • Top with the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  • Place under the broiler for a few minutes, and keep a close eye to make sure the marshmallows don’t burn. You just want them to brown slightly.
  • After removing the chips from the oven, add the crumbled graham crackers and cover with melted chocolate.
  • Serve immediately!
