All-in-one turkey tacos

Don’t know what to do with your turkey leftovers? This recipe will empty the fridge and delight the entire family!

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 Mejicano taco-size tortillas
  • 500 g pulled turkey
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) Mejicano Mexican spice blend (see recipe)
  • ⅔ cup (160 mL) crumbled feta
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup (240 mL) Mexican (see recipe) or store-bought salsa
  • 1 cup (240 mL) cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, cut into wedges

STEPS

  • In a large skillet, heat the tortillas on high for a few seconds on each side. Place in a cloth to keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, drizzle some vegetable oil and sauté the pulled turkey with the Mexican spice blend for 5 minutes.
  • Slice the avocados.
  • Place everything in the centre of the table so that everyone can prepare their tacos the way they like.
