Mejicano Tuesday and Gaspé seafood taco combo

Feature Gaspé lobster with these Mejicano-style Tuesday tacos.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 4.5-in. taco tortillas
  • 360 g of lobster meat
  • 2 avocados
  • ½ cup (120 mL) sour cream
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 cup (240 mL) finely sliced red cabbage
  • 2 lemons (zest and wedges)
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) chopped fresh cilantro
  • Hot sauce to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

STEPS

  • To make the avocado crema, peel the avocados and purée. Add the sour cream and lime juice.
  • In a pan, brown the tortillas a few seconds on each side.
  • Fill the tacos with the red cabbage, lobster and avocado crema.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon zest.
  • Serve with lemon wedges.
