Our History
At Mejicano, we believe that a tortilla is more than a flatbread, but a trip to the flavours and colorful culture of Mexico. A fiesta of tastes and aromas served on your table to perpetuate ancestral tradition celebrating simplicity and conviviality. This is how our tortillas are partners of your shared moments for more than 20 years!
Led by brothers Philippe and Pascal Gadoua, two of the main players in the success of the Gadoua Bakery, Mejicano is proud to offer high quality products. Thanks to their extensive knowledge of the food industry and their combined expertise, the company continues to grow and now offers the most diverse range of wheat flour tortillas on the market. We are proud of our vegan and Kasher MK-certified products prepared in Quebec by passionate employees. In short, we make unique tasting tortillas that enhance the flavour of your family meals.

CHICKEN TACOS
Top your tortillas with pulled or cubed chicken. Simply add minced cabbage, your favorite salsa, and a few leaves of fresh cilantro. It’s simple and tasty!
For 12 tacos
400 g shredded or cubed cooked chicken, season with your favorite Mexican spices
150 g sliced red cabbage
150 ml of your favorite salsa
12 coarsely chopped coriander sprigs
2 limes cut into quarters

SHRIMP TACOS
Place a few sautéed shrimps in your tortillas. Add red onion, chopped cabbage. Serve with your favorite salsa or spicy mayonnaise. Quick and so good!
For 12 tacos
36 medium sized shrimp
Half a red onion, finely chopped
240 g of white or red cabbage of your choice, thinly sliced
150 ml of your favorite spicy mayonnaise, to mix with the cabbage
(Do it yourself! Mix the mayonnaise with a little sriracha or sambal olek)
150 ml of salsa of your choice (optional)
2 limes cut into quarters

VEGETARIAN TACOS
Garnish your tortillas with pan-fried tofu cubes or roasted cauliflower. Add a few radish rings and a little guacamole. Serve with your favorite salsa and fresh cilantro. Original and healthy!

Half a cauliflower in florets to roast OR a block of tofu in cubes to pan, with your favorite Mexican spices
6 firm radishes, cut into rings
240 g of guacamole
12 sprigs of coarsely chopped coriander
2 limes cut into quarters
